Update on Transactions in Own Shares

As announced on 21 February 2019, Playtech has entered into an irrevocable non-discretionary buy back programme of up to €40 million with its corporate brokers, Goodbody and UBS, under which shares may be repurchased for cancellation.

Due to administrative errors made by Goodbody, the repurchase transactions of, in aggregate, 1,267,429 ordinary shares previously announced as having been undertaken by Goodbody on 22, 25, 26 and 27 February 2019 have been voided. All subsequent repurchases since 27 February 2019 have proceeded as announced.

As a consequence, the updated number of total ordinary shares in issue and total voting rights in the Company is 316,280,000.  This figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance & Transparency Rules.
