Playtech plc (LSE: PTEC), the international designer, developer and licensor of software and services for the online, mobile and land-based gaming industry announces the appointment of Hilary Stewart-Jones as Deputy-Chairman with immediate effect.

Alan Jackson, non-executive Chairman of Playtech, commented: "Since her appointment, Hilary has made a significant contribution to the Company's board through her extensive knowledge of the gambling industry.  On behalf of the Board, I am delighted that Hilary has agreed to become my deputy."
