PLANETEL S.P.A. MEETS THE FINANCIAL COMMUNITY IN A ROADSHOW ORGANISED BY ALANTRA WITH ITALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS TO PRESENT THE DATA OF ITS FY 2020 FINANCIAL RESULTS
Treviolo (Bergamo), 12 April 2021 – Planetel S.p.A., parent company of a group operating nationwide in the Telecommunications sector, listed on the AIM Italia multilateral trading system organised and run by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., has announced that Tuesday 13 April it will be meeting the financial community by taking part in the Roadshow organised by Alantra - the Company's Corporate Broker - with Italian and international investors, to whom it will present the financial results for the year ending 31 December 2020.
Planetel will be represented at the Alantra roadshow - an opportunity for presenting the company, its FY 2020 financial results and its Business Model to the market - by its Chairman and CEO Bruno Pianetti and Managing Director Mirko Mare, who will take part in a busy day of virtual one-to-one and small group meetings via links to Italian and international professional investors representing 10 asset management firms in Italy, France, Germany, the UK and Malta.
"This roadshow - part of a packed schedule of meetings planned by Alantra - is a chance to meet the financial market, following on from the excellent FY 2020 financial results," declared Planetel Chair and CEO Bruno Pianetti, "and illustrate our business plan and our Group's growth prospects to Italian and international investors not yet familiar with our organisation. Thanks to the funds collected during the IPO and the excellent results achieved during FY 2020, we are intending to bring forward to 2021 some of the investments planned for 2022 and 2023. We would like to thank Alantra for creating this new opportunity for dialogue, which will further help to grow Planetel's notoriety on the financial markets."
As of 31 December 2020 the Group recorded Earnings of 18.09 million Euro, an increase of +17% over the 15.45 million Euro of 2019(*) . Proforma Earnings were Euro 19.96 million, an increase of 12% compared to the 17.76 million of 2019.
EBITDA was 3.26 million Euro (18% of earnings), an increase of +32% over the 2.48 million Euro of 2019. Proforma EBITDA was 3.55 million Euro (18% of earnings), a rise of +36% over the 2.62 million Euro of 2019.
EBIT is 0.73 million Euro (4.0% of earnings), an increase of +16% over the 0.63 million Euro of 2019. Proforma EBITDA was 0.93 million Euro (5% of earnings), an increase of +45% over the 0.64 million Euro of 2019.
The Net Result for the period is positive by 1.1 million Euro, an increase of +89% compared to the result of 0.58 million Euro for the same period of 2019 (incidence on earnings 6%).
The Proforma Net Result for the period is 1.29 million (incidence on earnings 6%), an increase of +8% compared to the result of 1.20 million Euro for 2019.
