Subject: candidate for independent member of the Supervisory Board of ORLEN S.A.

Acting on behalf of Nationale-Nederlanden Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny, with its registered office in Warsaw, 12 Topiel Street, 00-342 Warsaw, (the "Fund"), represented by Nationale-Nederlanden Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne S.A., in connection with the Extraordinary General Meeting of ORLEN S.A. (the "Company") convened for December, 2nd 2024, we would like to propose the candidacy of Ms Ewa Sowińska as an independent member of the Company's Supervisory Board.

According to the statements submitted to us, Ms Ewa Sowińska agreed to candidate to the Company's Supervisory Board.

Ms Ewa Sowińska's professional experience and professionalism allow us to conclude that she is a candidate who can bring a lot of value to the Company, guaranteeing the proper performance of the duties of independent members of the Supervisory Board.

In addition, we kindly request that information about the candidacy for an independent member of the Company's Supervisory Board be communicated to the public by a regulatory announcement and placed on the Company's website.
