PIRELLI: EARLY REDEMPTION OF "PIRELLI INTERNATIONAL PLC €600,000,000 1.750 PER CENT. GUARANTEED NOTES DUE 18 NOVEMBER 2019" BOND
Milan, 23 February 2018 – Pirelli informs that today its subsidiary Pirelli International Plc has decided to exercise the right to redeem and, following redemption, cancel the "Pirelli International PLC €600,000,000 1.750 per cent. Guaranteed Notes due 18 November 2019", listed on the Luxemburg Stock Exchange and having maturity date 18 November 2019 (the "2019 Notes").
The early redemption, concerning all of the 2019 Notes, will be exercised in accordance with the "Make-Whole Issuer Call" pursuant to the current Terms and Conditions of the 2019 Notes.
Such a transaction is aimed to achieve a constant optimization of the group's financial structure and will take place following the procedures and with the timing set out in the Terms and Conditions of the 2019 Notes.
The completion of the early redemption is expected on or before 31 March 2018.
