Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On October 12, 2021, Evan Sharp informed Pinterest, Inc. (“Pinterest”) that he will resign from his position as the Chief Design and Creative Officer of Pinterest, effective as of October 15, 2021. Mr. Sharp will serve as an advisor to Pinterest through the date of Pinterest’s 2024 annual meeting of stockholder pursuant to a Consulting Agreement entered into with him dated October 13, 2021. Mr. Sharp’s transition is not the result of any disagreement with Pinterest’s management or board of directors. Pinterest is grateful to Mr. Sharp for his nearly ten years of service and looks forward to continuing to work with him as an advisor and member of the board of directors.
