Rampart Energy Ltd TRADING HALT

The securities of Rampart Energy Ltd (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 17 July 2014 or when the announcement is released to the market.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.2 the Company requests a trading halt for all of its securities to commence at market open today pending an announcement regarding a material capital raising.

The Company requests that trading be halted until after the expected announcement is made or until market open on Thursday, 17 July 2014, whichever is the earlier.

The Company is not aware of any reason why trading in its securities should not be temporarily halted.
