WITHDRAWAL OF SHARE PURCHASE PLAN

Rampart Energy Ltd (“Rampart” or “the Company”, ASX: RTD) advises that its previously announced Share Purchase Plan ( SPP ) (see RTD announcement dated 20 August 2014) closed last Friday, 26 September 2014. The SPP was designed to raise additional funds to progress the Company’s projects and for general working capital. However, given the amount of applications received under the SPP, the directors are of the view that insufficient funds were raised through the SPP to realise this objective and accordingly the SPP has been withdrawn. Shareholders who have lodged applications under the SPP will receive a full refund for their application monies under the SPP by cheque sent to the address specified in the shareholder’s Application Form.
