TRADING HALT

The securities of Earth Heat Resources Ltd (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 5 March 2012 or when the announcement is released to the market.

RE: Earth Heat Resources Ltd – EHR Request for Trading Halt

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.2 the Company requests a trading halt pending a material announcement. The reasons are:

• The Company expects to make a material price sensitive announcement within the next few days;

• The Company is finalising negotiations for a substantial placement to raise from $3m to $5m (the equivalent of up to approximately 27.2% of the current issued capital) which it expects to be able to announce prior to 12:00pm next Monday;

• The Company requests that trading be halted immediately until after the expected announcement is made or until 12:00pm on Monday, 5 March 2012, whichever is the earlier;

• The Company is not aware of any reason why its securities should not be temporarily suspended.
