TRADING HALT

The securities of Earth Heat Resources Ltd (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of commencement of normal trading on Friday, 27 July 2012, or when the announcement is released to the market.

RE: Earth Heat Resources Ltd – EHR Request for Trading Halt

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.2 the Company requests a trading halt to commence at market open today, 25 July 2012 pending a material announcement. The reasons are:

• The Company expects to make a material price sensitive announcement prior to market open next Friday;

• The Company expects to complete a substantial share placement of up to 101m shares at a significant discount to market price (representing 15% of the current issued capital), for the purposes of working capital pending completion of other major fund raising initiates for the Copahue project as previously announced;

• The Company requests that trading be halted until after the expected announcement is made or until market open on Friday, 27 July 2012, whichever is the earlier;

• The Company is not aware of any reason why its securities should not be temporarily suspended.
