Pihlajalinna Plc: Tervola chose Pihlajalinna as municipality's social and healthcare services partner

Pihlajalinna Plc Stock Exchange Release 9 September 2016 at 9.00 a.m. Tervola chose Pihlajalinna as municipality's social and healthcare services partner Tervola municipal council chose Pihlajalinna as partner for the municipality's social and healthcare services in its meeting held last night, 8 September, 2016. According to tendering, the contract's duration is at least 10 years and at most 15 years. Provisionally, the service production begins on 1 July 2017. Tervola municipality's population is about 3,200 and the contract's value is about EUR 13 million per year. Tervola municipality's contract extends Pihlajalinna's municipality outsourcings to northern Finland. The municipality's social and healthcare services will be provided by Pihlajalinna Group's subsidiary owned by Tervola municipality and Pihlajalinna Group. The temporary act restricting municipalities' complete social and healthcare outsourcings will be taken into account in actual contract negotiations.
