The management board of Photon Energy N.V. (the 'Group') informs that it has successfully increased the Group's 7.75% corporate bond 2017/2022 by EUR 5.4 million to a total of EUR 43 million, corresponding to 14% of the outstanding previous bond volume.

The new notes were placed in a private placement exclusively with institutional investors. The transaction was managed by Bankhaus Scheich Wertpapierspezialist AG, Frankfurt am Main, as the sole global coordinator.

The successful increase will enable the Group to pursue highly attractive market opportunities. The Group intends to use the net proceeds to finance the construction of power plants in Hungary and Australia for its own PV-portfolio as well as to strengthen its financial standing.

The new notes will be included into trading in the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the existing ISIN.
