SUMMARY:
-
CELAMIN HOLDINGS LIMITED TO BECOME PHOSCO LTD
-
PROPOSED SHAREHOLDER VOTE: AGM 26 NOVEMBER 2021
-
NEW ASX CODE : PHO.ASX
-
THE NEW NAME BETTER REPRESENTS THE ASSETS AND COMMODITY
Celamin Holdings Limited (" Celamin " or the “ Company ”) (ASX:CNL) proposes a name change to PhosCo Ltd (ASX: PHO) in recognition of its future direction and restarting work at the Chaketma Phosphate Project in Tunisia. This is an important decision and requires a Special Resolution with at least 75% of shareholders voting in favour.
Celamin’s directors believe that PhosCo more clearly represents the Company’s vision to become a significant phosphate producer and embrace a “Green Shift” towards future fertiliser production. Chaketma is a potential large scale phosphate development asset which could be complemented by resource growth from the existing deposit and with additional nearby deposits. This would offer ability to progress from rock phosphate production, with possible direct application phosphate, through to fully integrated fertiliser production.
Timing of the proposed change of name reflects a re-launching of the company following a 6-year hiatus since 2015, when ownership and project control were removed, until now when technical work under Company control can resume. Following the lifting of COVID travel restrictions it is expected that by late 2021, new Country Manager, Donald Thomson will relocate to Tunisia.
This announcement is authorised for release to the market by the Board of Directors of Celamin Holdings Limited.
