PHARMANUTRA S.P.A. SIGNS NEW DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENTS WITH AMERICAN TAIWAN BIOPHARM CO. AND ARGON DRUG STORE
The Group continues its international expansion with new distribution contracts for the SiderAL® and Cetilar® line products in four new countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Jordan.
Pisa, 13 October 2021 - PharmaNutra S.p.A. (MTA; Ticker PHN), a company specialising in mineral-based nutritional supplements and medical devices for muscles and joints, has signed three new international distribution contracts for its SiderAL® and Cetilar® products.
The first agreement in with Thai partner American Taiwan Biopharm Co. (ATB), a company established at the end of 2000 and currently one of the most important in Southeast Asia, which is to distribute Cetilar® Crema in Malaysia and Singapore. ATB will also market SiderAL® Forte and SiderAL® Folic in Vietnam, a country where iron deficiency is widespread, to the extent that an estimated 53% of pregnant women are affected.
The agreement concerns both PharmaNutra leading brands, consolidating an already successful partnership, that started in 2019 with the distribution of Cetilar® products in Thailand.
The second agreement has been signed with Argon Drug Store, which has been appointed to distribute four SiderAL® products in Jordan: SiderAL® Drops Int., SiderAL® Bimbi, SiderAL® Forte and SiderAL® Folic. Jordan, too, is a country with widespread iron deficiency, especially among children below the age of five (1 out of 3).
Argon Drug Store is a dynamic young company established in Amman in 2020, which specialises in the import, distribution and marketing of healthcare products on the Jordanian market. This agreement is particularly relevant in a broader commercial context where, according to data from the Italian Trade Agency, Italy is one of Jordan's main trading partners, the eighth worldwide and, after Germany, the second in Europe.
