Delay of the commissioning of the unit no. 7 in Turów power plant

With reference to the current report no. 6/2021 dated February 25, 2021,the Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. ("PGE")discloses that on April 30, 2021 it has taken information from PGEGórnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A. (PGE's subsidiary) about thepostponement of the completion of the construction of the new power unitin Turów power plant, being realized by consortium including companies:Mitsubishi Hitachi Power System GmbH (Consortium leader), TecnicasReunidas S.A. and Budimex S.A. As a result, the commissioning date ofthe unit no. 7, assumed for April 30, 2021, shall be postponed. It isassumed, that the commissioning shall take place no later than May 15,2021. The Management Board of PGE notifies that the agreement for theconstruction of the new unit in Turów power plant, contains - as astandard course of action - contractual penalty clause in specifiedcases. Parties to the agreement will analyze precise reasons for thedelay also for possible penalty clauses.
