Pfeiffer Vacuum gives outlook for fiscal year 2018 and invites to the Annual General Meeting

– Expected Sales: EUR 640 million to EUR 660 million

– EBIT margin: 14 to 16 %, adjusted: 15 to 17%

Asslar, May 23, 2018. Pfeiffer Vacuum, a leading global manufacturer of vacuum solutions, announces its outlook for the fiscal year prior to today’s Annual General Meeting. In the current second quarter of 2018, we were able to further expand the pleasing order situation. Assuming that the market environment remains good, we expect sales for 2018 as a whole to range between EUR 640 million and EUR 660 million. The EBIT margin is expected to be between 14 and 16 percent, the EBIT margin adjusted for PPA effects is expected to range between 15 and 17 percent. For the sensitivity of sales to exchange rate changes in USD and KRW, a low double-digit million amount is expected with an assumed deviation of 10 percent from the previous year’s exchange rate.
