Der Umsatz stieg trotz Asienkrise und der schwierigen Lage der Halbleiterindustrie um 6,5 % auf DM 214,4 Mio. Die wichtigsten 9-Monatszahlen auf einen Blick: Umsatz von DM 201,3 Mio auf DM 214,4 Mio = + 6,5 % Ergebnis nach Steuer von DM 11,0 Mio auf DM 17,7 Mio = + 60,2 % Gewinn je Stückaktie von DM 1,19 auf DM 1,90 = + 59,7 % Pfeiffer Vacuum reports another significant increase in net income The German manufacturer of vacuum technology products which is listed both on the New York Stock Exchange and Frankfurt’s Neuer Markt reported a 60 % increase in net income for the first three quarters of 1998 compared to the 1997 period. Inspite of the Asia crisis and the problems that the semiconductor industry faces, the Company reported a 6.5 % increase in net sales to DM 214.4 million in that period.
