Death of Non-Executive Director

PetroNor E&P Limited ("PetroNor" or the "Company") announces with great sadness the news that Non-Executive Director Mr Bjarne Moe has passed away.

It is not the intention of the Board to seek a replacement Non-Executive Director at this stage, and accordingly the Board is now comprised of seven Directors:

Eyas Alhomouz, Non-Executive Chairman

Jens Pace, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director

Stephen West, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director

Knut Søvold, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director

David King, Non-Executive Director

Joseph Iskander, Non-Executive Director

Timothy Turner, Non-Executive Director

Commenting on today’s announcement, Eyas Alhomouz, Non-Executive Chairman of PetroNor E&P said:

“On behalf of the Board I offer my sincere condolences to Bjarne’s family for their loss. Bjarne was a valuable contributor towards the Company since joining the Board of what was then African Petroleum in 2013. He was a real gentleman and he will be missed by all of us at PetroNor.”
