Petrobras on pieces of news in the media

Rio de Janeiro, February 3, 2023 - Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras, regarding the pieces of news in the media, clarifies that, among the measures intended by the new management of the Company, the creation of the new Board of Renewable Energy will be considered in due course by the Executive Board and then submitted for approval by the competent corporate bodies, in accordance with the applicable internal governance procedures.

Additionally, eventual intended decisions regarding investments and asset sales must be analyzed by the proper governance instances.

Facts deemed relevant will be disclosed to the market in due course.
