Petrobras on Official Letter from the CVM

Rio de Janeiro, April 12, 2023 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras informs that it has received an official letter from the Superintendence of Corporate Relations (SEP), from the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), in which it announces that, considering the information available up to the present moment and in line with the understanding of the Eligibility Committee and the Board of Directors of Petrobras, it concluded that the candidates Pietro Adamo Sampaio Mendes and Sérgio Machado Rezende are ineligible for the election of members of the Board of Directors to be held at the Annual General Meeting of 04/27/2023.

The analyzes of the Eligibility Committee and the Board of Directors on the nominees by the controlling and minority shareholders can be found at the Company's website (https://www.investidorpetrobras.com.br/en/general-shareholder-and-board-meetings), where they are made available as they are completed.
