Petrobras on pieces of news in the media

Rio de Janeiro, July 12, 2022 - Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras, regarding the news published in the media about its frequency of readjustments in fuel prices, clarifies that, in 2022, it carried out an increase and a reduction in LPG prices, four readjustments in diesel prices and three readjustments in gasoline prices, a frequency lower than that observed at the points of sale, affected by the dynamics of the various market players.

Petrobras reiterates its commitment to the practice of competitive prices and in balance with the market, while avoiding the immediate pass- through of external volatility and of the exchange rate caused by conjunctural events.

Petrobras continuously monitors the markets, which includes, among other procedures, the daily analysis of the behavior of our prices relative to international quotations.
