Notification of Transaction of Director / PDMR

Petra Diamonds Limited announces the following transaction of a Director/Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR").

The transaction below took place on 19 May 2017 in London and was notified to the Company on the same day.  The transaction relates to the exercise of option awards and the subsequent sale of shares.

The Company issued 250,000 ordinary shares of 10p each ("new Ordinary Shares") with voting rights. The new Ordinary Shares are covered under the Company's existing six month block listing return.  The Company's issued share capital post the issue of the new Ordinary Shares consisted of 530,491,218 ordinary shares of 10p each with voting rights. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Petra is 530,491,218.  

The above figure of 530,491,218 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in (or a change to their interest in) Petra under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

Following the exercise of option awards and subsequent sale, Adonis Pouroulis holds 7,735,000 shares, representing 1.46% of the total issued share capital.
