RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

The board of directors (the “Board”) of APAC Resources Limited (the “Company”) announces that Mr. Lau Yau Cheung has resigned as an executive Director of the Company due to his arrangement with his personal business with effect from 31 October 2007.

Mr. Lau has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there are no matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company in relation to his resignation.

The Board would like to express sincere appreciation to Mr. Lau for his valuable contribution to the Company during his tenure of service.
