Persimmon Plc ("the Company") announces that on 3 October 2013 it granted an option to purchase ordinary 10p shares to the following executive director under the Persimmon plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme 1998.  The option will normally be exercisable from 1 December 2016 to 31 May 2017.
