Director's Share Transaction

Persimmon plc (the "Company") announces that it has today been informed that on 27 March 2013 Mike Killoran, Group Finance Director transferred 64,022 ordinary shares in the Company to family trusts for nil consideration.  Mike Killoran also transferred 14,989 ordinary shares in the Company to his wife Jacqueline Flanigan for nil consideration.

In addition, Mike Killoran transferred 85,068 ordinary shares in the Company to a benefit trust for himself at an average price of 1034p.

As a result of this transaction Mike Killoran and Jacqueline Flanigan are beneficially interested in 411,736 shares or 0.1% of the issued share capital of the Company and also have a non-beneficial interest of 64,022 ordinary shares.

The issued share capital of the Company on 28 March 2013 is 302,927,636 ordinary shares.
