Perseus Mining Limited advises that 33,433,445 shares and 6,400,000 options to subscribe for ordinary shares at an exercise price of 20 cents each on or before 31 March 2009 will be released from ASX escrow conditions on 22 September 2006. 2,400,000 options (out of the 6.4m) are held by a director of the Company and ASX quotation will not be sought for them.
