HEADLINE: APPOINTMENT OF SENIOR INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc (the "Company") has today announced the appointment of Julie O'Neill as the Board's Senior Independent Director.

Julie, who joined the Board in January 2014, is a former Secretary General of the Department of Transport and a current Non-Executive Director of Ryanair Holdings plc.

Julie succeeds Dominic Dodd as Senior Independent Director following his retirement from the Board at the Company's AGM held on the 20 April 2016.
