APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Issue of shares

Chrysalis Resources Limited (“the Company; Chrysalis”) advises pursuant to the shareholder approval at the Company’s General Meeting held 14 October 2013, 23,575,427 fully paid ordinary shares have today been issued at 6 cents per share to Eagle Brilliant Holdings Limited (“EBH”). The shares have been placed under a voluntary 12 month escrow from the date of issue.

Appointment of Non-executive director

In accordance with the Binding Term Sheet with Eagle Brilliant Holdings Limited (“EBH”) (as per 24 June 2013 ASX Announcement), Ms Jing Wang has today been appointed as Non-Executive Director effective from 1st November 2013.

Ms Jing Wang

Ms Wang has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Shandong University of China (2001) and gained her masters of Accounting from Curtin University (2003). She is a member of CPA Australia and has had 10 years of commercial and financial experience in the mining industry in China, Australia and Africa. She has worked in the areas of marketing, business development, accounting and commercial services for several ASX companies and a major Chinese multinational group which were actively involved in exploration and mining of gold, nickel and iron ore.

Ms Wang currently holds no other directorship positions.

Commenting today, Chrysalis’ Executive Chairman Dr Neale Fong, said:

“The appointment of Ms Wang brings commercial and financial experience in mineral exploration to Chrysalis at a time when Chrysalis is focusing on the exploration of its Zambian Copper Project. In addition, the appointment expands Chrysalis’ relationship with its strategic investment partner Eagle Brilliant Holdings Limited.”
