JOINT VENTURE OPTION AGREEMENT TO PROCEED ON SHIKILA AND KABWIMA PROJECTS, ZAMBIA

As per the Chrysalis Resources Limited (“ Chrysalis ”) ASX announcement lodged on the 18[th] of November 2014, Chrysalis and FQM Exploration (Zambia) Limited (“ FQM ”), a subsidiary of First Quantum Minerals Ltd., have entered into a Joint Venture Option Agreement which was subject to Due Diligence on FQM’s behalf.

Chrysalis has received notification from FQM that the Due Diligence condition has been satisfied.

Exploration (funded by FQM) has commenced across the Kabwima Project with 2,274 soil samples (500m x 500m spaced) already collected. All samples will be submitted for 4 acid digest (ICP-MS) analysis in order to obtain low detection limits for 48 elements. The low level analysis will be used to identify broad pathfinder element alteration haloes associated with sediment hosted copper deposits, and for litho-geochemical interpretation to further identify rock types beneath areas of no outcrop.
