Mr. PV Rao is a Civil Engineering Graduate from JNTU Kakinada and has more than 38 years of experience in Construction industry. He started his career in the academic field as Assistant Lecturer at VR Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada in January 1981. Later he worked as Project Manager at Gannon Dunkerley at Mumbai executing infrastructure projects from middle of 1983 to early 1989 and worked as Construction incharge at Sir CR Reddy College of Engineering, Eluru from 1989 to middle of 1993, and then moved to Sultanate of Oman. He gained vast knowledge in pre-engineered metal buildings by working in senior positions in Suhail Bahwan and Zubair groups.

Mr. Rao returned to India in 2000 and joined Kirby Building Systems as General Manager (Erection, Sales & Marketing) . Later in 2006, he joined TATA BlueScope Steel Ltd. as COO and was one of the key personnel in establishing Tata’s PEB business all over India.

Currently, Mr. Rao is serving as Joint Managing Director of Pennar Industries Limited, a Hyderabad based company . He has been with the company since 2008, instrumental in establishing PEB business, setting-up the metal buildings manufacturing facility and attracting the best talent. Under his able leadership, PEBS Pennar has been growing rapidly in revenues & profitability every year, and also bagged 21 prestigious awards of national repute. Today, PEBS Pennar is the 2[nd] Biggest Metal Buildings Company in India.
