TONY LENNON, CHAIRMAN OF PEET, ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FROM THE BOARD

Further to the announcement in August 2023 by Peet Limited (ASX: PPC) ( Peet or the Company ) of Mr Tony Lennon’s intention to step down, following a period to arrange an orderly succession, Peet today announced that Mr Lennon’s retirement as Chairman and from the Board of Peet will take effect at the conclusion of the 2024 Annual General Meeting ( AGM ).

Peet Chairman Mr Tony Lennon commented: “Having commenced nearly 40 years ago as the major shareholder and new Managing Director of Peet, I confirm that at the 2024 AGM, I shall retire from my position as Director and Chairman of Peet Ltd.”

“While I will take more time at the AGM to thank all those that have supported me during my time on the Board, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank and recognise my current fellow Board members Anthony Lennon, Trevor Allen, Margaret Kennedy, Michelle Tierney, Greg Wall and Managing Director and CEO, Brendan Gore.”

“I also take this opportunity to announce that Greg Wall AM will become the Chairman of the Board of Peet following my retirement. Greg has significant corporate experience, both as a successful CEO and as a director of a variety of other boards. I wish him the best in his role as Chairman of Peet and I leave the Board in good hands,” said Mr Lennon.

Peet Chairman-elect Mr Wall commented: “I am honoured to be trusted with the appointment as Chairman of Peet, which has a long and successful history in creating communities for many thousands of people across Australia for nearly 130 years. I look forward to steering the Company forward together with my fellow directors and the whole Peet team.”

“Tony’s legacy at Peet is undeniable, having led the Company to becoming one of the largest land developers in Australia, including leading the Company onto the ASX in 2004. On behalf of the Board and the rest of the Peet team, we wish him well in his future endeavours,” said Mr Wall.

Mr Anthony Lennon intends to remain on the Board as a Non-executive Director beyond Mr Tony Lennon's retirement.

Peet also takes the opportunity to confirm that in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 3.13.1, the 2024 AGM of the Company will be held as a traditional AGM at the Parmelia Hilton Perth Hotel on Wednesday, 30 October 2024, commencing at 10.00am (AWST).

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 14.3 and rule 8.1(k) of the Company’s Constitution, the closing date for the receipt of nominations from persons wishing to be considered for election as a director is Wednesday, 11 September 2024.
