Section 1 Sampling Techniques and Data

The information below is provided in respect of historical exploration results and has been sourced from open file reports available within the Western Australian Minerals Exploration (WAMEX) database, with specific reference numbers indicated in Tables. A and B of Appendix A.

Peako has compiled historical geochemical data from past explorers: Rock Chip Sampling • Inco Australiacarried out a systematic survey of chromite seams with samples taken across outcropping. The samples were analysed for Ni, Cu, Cr by AAS or for Pt + Pd using a method of concentration by tellurium precipitation prior to AAS analysis. • Freeport Australasia Incsampled rock chips from exposed chromite seams and sulphidic ultramafics. Chromite seams were exposed in outcrop and in costeans excavated by previous workers. Samples were analysed for platinum, palladium and gold by Australian Assay Laboratories, Perth. Analyses were done by FA100 • Helix Resourcescarried out rock chip sampling across chromitite seams, ultramafic, anorthosite and gabbro lithologies. Chromite samples were taken at 100m to 150 m intervals along strike. Samples were analysed for Au, Pt, Pd, Cu, Ni, Cr, As. All samples were prepared and analysed by Analabs, Welshpool. Crushing and disk mill pulverisation was done and the following assay methods used: Au: 50g fire assay fusion, AAS finish, 0.005ppm detection limits. Pt,Pd:50gfire assayfusion, carbon rodfinish,

Soil Sampling • Helix Resourcescarried out systematic soil sampling collected on a 20m x 200m grid with samples taken at 0-15cm

Section 2 Reporting of Exploration Results

The tenement is current and in good standing with all statutory commitments being met as and when required. Exploration done by other parties	• Acknowledgment and appraisal of exploration by other parties.	Historical exploration within the tenement area has been undertaken by numerous parties, commencing with Pickands Mather in 1967. Geology	• Deposit type, geological setting and style of mineralisation.	The Eastman Bore layered ultramafic-mafic intrusion, which belongs to the “Lamboo Ultramafics” suite (1835 Ma), outcrops in the southeast of E80/4990. It intrudes the Koongie Park Formation. The eastern portion of the intrusion is 8km long (exposed for 6km strike and 2km of strike under black soil cover). It is 950m thick in the east and thinning towards

		the west. The sequence dips steeply to the south and is overturned. The primary magmatic stratigraphy consists of a “Lower Ultramafic” (peridotite) layer at the base that is about 250m thick, a “Central Anorthosite” layer about 350m thick, a thin “Upper Ultramafic” layer, followed by an “Upper Gabbro” layer about 350m thick. The ultramafic layers contain abundant magnetite (ferrichromite?) and are mapped by prominent curvilinear magnetic anomalies. The igneous layering gets “younger” towards the north but dips steeply to the south indicating it is overturned. Faults and folds have deformed the intrusion. Dolerite dykes that traverse the intrusion appear to be more common in the east and less common in the west. Chloritic shears and quartz veins are present around the margins of the Eastman Bore layered intrusion. Minor disseminated sulphides (pyrite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite) are common within in the ultramafics of the Eastman Bore layered intrusion. Sulphide blebs have been reported near the base of the Lower Ultramafic. Agate boulders with abundant chalcopyrite have been found near the base of the Upper Ultramafic at one site. Malachite-bearing chloritic shear zones, 100 to 300m long and 0.3-3.3m wide, have been identified along the southeast basal contact of the Upper Ultramafic. There is minor localised Cu mineralisation in sheared metasediments along the footwall contact with the Lower Ultramafic. There are multiple, stacked, “poddy”, chromitite seams, 0.05m to 1.25m in thickness, in the Lower and Upper ultramafic layers of the Eastman Bore The morphology of the mineralisation as well as the structural make up is not well understood.
