Althea THC20:CBD1 approved for sale in Ireland

MyAccess Clinics to launch in Ireland following the latest product registration

Highlights:

• Althea’s flagship THC-dominant cannabis oil, Althea THC20:CBD1, has been approved for sale and distribution in Ireland

• Althea is the only supplier with multiple cannabis oils approved for sale by The Health Products Regulatory Authority, Althea CBD12:THC10 and Althea THC20:CBD1

• An application is underway for Althea THC20:CBD1 to be added to the Primary Care Reimbursement Service, which would make the medicine free of charge for Irish patients for certain medical conditions

19 May 2023: Althea Group Holdings Limited (ASX:AGH) (‘AGH’, or ‘the Company’) , a global leader in the

manufacturing, sales and distribution of cannabis-based medicines and recreational cannabis products, is pleased to announce that the Health Products Regulatory Authority (‘HPRA’) has approved Althea THC20:CBD1 for sale and distribution in Ireland.

Ireland – An attractive market with high barriers to entry

Althea’s flagship THC-dominant cannabis oil, Althea THC20:CBD1, has been approved in Ireland under the country’s Medical Cannabis Access Program (MCAP). Althea becomes the only supplier multiple cannabis oils approved by HPRA, Althea CBD12:THC10 and Althea THC20:CBD1, with Tilray the only other supplier to have a THC-based oral solution registered in Ireland.

Ireland is an important European market for Althea, as it has high barriers to entry and favourable patient access schemes, such as the Primary Care Reimbursement Service, which makes it possible for a Healthcare Professional to prescribe a cannabis-based treatment to a patient free of charge. An application is underway for Althea THC20:CBD1 to be added to the Primary Care Reimbursement Service.

MyAccess Clinics announces Ireland expansion

A subsidiary of AGH, MyAccess Clinics is a UK-based private medical clinic specialising in medicinal cannabis, offering convenient and affordable online consultations for patients. A combination of UK-based and Ireland-based Healthcare Professionals will be available to consult with Irish patients, with prescriptions fulfilled electronically and medicines delivered by mail.

The Irish expansion will utilize existing infrastructure, requiring minimal investment to commence operations.
