Notification of Share Transaction by Director and Allotment of Shares to Employee Trust

The Paragon Group of Companies PLC announces that Nicholas Keen, a director of the Company, has, on 5 August 2013, exercised awards over 545,153 Ordinary Shares of £1 each in the Company under the Paragon Performance Share and Matching Share Plans for nil consideration and sold all of the shares awarded for £3.2992 per share.

Separately, on 5 August 2013, The Paragon Group of Companies PLC Employee Trust was allotted 550,000 Ordinary Shares of £1 each in The Paragon Group of Companies PLC at par value.  The shares were acquired to meet awards as they mature and are exercised under The Paragon Group of Companies Performance Share and Matching Share Plans, in which the Group's executive directors and certain of the Group's senior employees have participated from time to time.

Following the purchase of the shares and the exercise of the share awards reported above, the total shares held by the Company's various employee trusts is 3,024,435.
