Passing of John Walmsley, Non-executive Director
It is with great sadness that the we announce the passing of John Walmsley, Non-executive Director and former Chairman of Pantheon Resources plc ("Pantheon").
John has been a highly regarded figure in the UK Oil and Gas sector over the past 35 years through his roles as both an advisor and a principal, in the UK as well as internationally. In addition to his stewardship of Pantheon, John will be remembered for his roles as CEO of Hardy Oil & Gas, Finance Director of Enterprise Oil plc, Chairman of Consilience Energy Advisory Group Ltd and for his role as a Tax partner at Arthur Anderson where he advised the Energy Sector.
Our thoughts go out to John's family and friends at this difficult and sad time.
CEO, Jay Cheatham, stated: "The loss that we are all feeling is impossible to put into words. John served our company with distinction and honour and we will all miss his wise counsel. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Liz and his entire family. He was one of life's true gentlemen, and he will be sorely missed."
