Lodestone Exploration Limited ("Lodestone" or "the Company") wishes to advise that it today lodged a Section 708A Notice which contained incorrect information. The original documents referred to the issue of 20,000,000 performance rights, which was an error. The correct number of performance rights issued is 18,000,000.

An amended Section 708A Notice is attached.

Amended Section 708A Notice – Placement Shares and Options

Lodestone Exploration Limited ("Lodestone" or "the Company") hereby provides notice to the ASX for the purpose of section 708A(5)(e) of the Corporations Act that it issued 11,000,000 ordinary fully paid shares and 11,000,000 unlisted options (each of which entitles holder to acquire one share and one unlisted piggyback option) in a placement, as well as 2,000,000 unlisted options and 18,000,000 performance rights today in the Company (Shares) without disclosure to investors under Part 6D.2 of the Corporations Act.

The Company states that as at the date of this notice:

• It has complied with the relevant provisions of Chapter 2M of the Corporations Act as they apply to the Company and Section 674 of the Corporations Act; and
• It is not aware of any excluded information within the meaning of Sections 708A(7) and 708A(8) of the Corporations Act.

An Appendix 3B with respect to the issue of the shares, options and performance rights was lodged by the Company with ASX on 26 June 2009.
