BOARD CHANGES
AustChina Holdings Limited (AUH) is very pleased to announce that Mr David Morris has today been appointed as a Non-executive Director of AustChina Holdings Limited.
Mr Morris is a distinguished international expert on risks and opportunities in the international business environment, who has had a global career as diplomat, senior political adviser and international consultant.
A detailed summary of Mr Morris' education, experience and current endeavors is attached.
Mr William Ko will be retiring as a Director on 30 November 2020 and the Board and Management thanks him for his service and wishes him all the best for the future.

David Morris is a distinguished international expert on risks and opportunities in the international business environment. He has had a global career as diplomat, senior political adviser and international consultant.
He is Vice President of the United Nations Sustainable Business Network for Asia Pacific, which advises the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). He chaired the UN ESCAP Asia Pacific Business Forum in 2019, which was held for the first time in Papua New Guinea.
David has advised governments, businesses, universities, regional organisations and the United Nations. His network of partners covers the world, forecasting future trends, identifying opportunities, analysing risks and building understanding, relationships and reputations.
His international consultancy, David Morris Projects OÜ, harnesses a global network and expertise to consult to organisations in China, Europe and across the Asia Pacific. David is Senior Expert for China, East Asia, Australia and the Pacific with LM Prisk Political Risk & Strategic Advisory. Until recently, he was the Pacific Trade and Investment Commissioner for China, based in Beijing.
David is Senior Research Fellow, Research Center for Pacific Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and is currently completing a PhD on risks and opportunities on the Belt and Road with Corvinus University of Budapest, where he also lectures on Asian Studies and Political Economy, as well as guest lecture

roles in Australia, Austria and China. He is Academic Adviser to Liaocheng University and a member of the Editorial Board of the Blue Book on the Pacific published by Sun Yat-Sen University. David graduated with a BA (Honours) from the University of Sydney and has an MBA from one of Europe's leading business schools, Henley Business School.
He established and was the first Executive Director of the China Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. He has advised on complex international investments, brand identity and marketing campaigns including for nations, and world-leading stakeholder engagement and leadership dialogue events.
David served as an Australian diplomat for a decade. He analysed security challenges from South East Asia to the Balkans and was a major contributor to highly-respected reform proposals for the United Nations and peacekeeping. He developed new soft power strategies to support Australian business and cultural promotion around the world.
David also worked for a decade as a senior political adviser. He led major policy reforms in governance, international trade promotion, environmental protection, healthcare, industry and regional development. He coordinated trade and investment missions between Australia and China, Japan, India, Malaysia and the US. He managed campaigns, built impactful media relations and innovated in social media and targeted promotions.
