LODESTONE APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR

The Directors of Lodestone Exploration Limited (“Lodestone”) are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Grahame Baker, FIE Aust., F Aus IMM., CP Eng as a non-executive director.

Mr Baker is a chemical engineer by profession. He is an independent consultant in the energy industry with particular expertise in upstream petroleum, particularly in coal seam gas.

The Board of Lodestone has resolved to issue 2,000,000 options exercisable at 7 cents with an expiry period of two years after the date of the issue. The issue of the options is subject to shareholder approval at an EGM to be held shortly.

The Board of Lodestone considers the appointment of Mr Baker as adding a high level of energy expertise to the group as it continues exploring in Queensland.
