BOARD CHANGES
The Chairman of Lodestone Exploration Limited (ASX: LOD), Mr John T Shaw, is retiring by rotation at this year’s Annual General Meeting, and does not seek re-election. Consequently his terms as a Director will end on 30 November 2007.
Mr Shaw joined Lodestone on 20 May 2002, as its inaugural Chairman. He has provided Lodestone with seasoned counsel, and decisive leadership, drawn from vast experience in the Industry.
Mr Martin Ackland, a non-executive Director of Lodestone, will succeed Mr Shaw as Chairman.
Mr Ackland is Executive Director of Mineral Deposits Limited, a former Director of Sedimentary Holdings Limited, and a former Chairman of Ausenco Limited, among pdiverse appointments spanning 35 years.
Mr Ackland’s experience includes management, operations, project finance, project development, and capital raising. His array of skills and experience will be of particular relevance as Lodestone pursues fresh opportunities in the Mining Industry.
