Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On April 18, 2019, following Owens Corning’s 2019 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, the Board of Directors (“ Board ”) of Owens Corning increased the size of the Board from nine to ten members. The Board then elected Brian D. Chambers, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, as a director, effective immediately, to fill the vacancy created by the increase in the size of the Board. Mr. Chambers will be a member of the Board’s Executive Committee.
