Orthocell extends distributor network in the EU

• Komak appointed as exclusive distributor in Poland , an emerging European market with strong uptake of new medical devices

Perth, Australia; 8 May 2018: Regenerative medicine company Orthocell Limited (ASX:OCC, Orthocell) is pleased to announce it has appointed Komak Sp as its exclusive distributor of CelGro® for dental bone and soft tissue repair across Poland.

“Komak is a leading distributor of innovative medical devices with an experienced team to assist in managing the promotion and distribution of CelGro.” said Managing Director of Orthocell, Paul Anderson. “ Komak is the ideal partner in this important emerging market with established relationships with dental and orthopaedic surgeons and a successful track record driving market entry of high quality products.” He added.

The distributor agreement follows the appointment of Bimar Ortho in Italy and is consistent with Orthocell’s strategy to expand the network of specialized distributors in key markets within Europe.

Komak will lead the distribution of Orthocell’s CelGro® for dental bone and soft tissue repair across Poland undertaking targeted promotion activities, initiating sales, as well as expanding the network of referring periodontists and oral and maxillofacial surgeons. The exclusive distribution agreement has a term of five years and enables Orthocell access to an attractive emerging market, with a rapid uptake of innovative medical devices and a growing healthcare expenditure per capita. Orthocell is well positioned to gain traction in this market and to expand into other rapidly growing key markets in Europe.
