Dr. Jonathan Bell Appointed to Orthocell Advisory Board

• Globally recognised UK orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Jonathan Bell, appointed to Orthocell’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Board

Perth, Australia; 25 June 2018: Regenerative medicine company Orthocell Limited (ASX: OCC, “Orthocell” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jonathan Bell to its Medical and Scientific Advisory Board (MSAB).

The appointment of UK orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Bell follows the recent successful CelGro® tendon study results announced on 6 June 2018 and ensures Orthocell is well positioned to expand CelGro® indications into the orthopaedic field (including bone, tendon, nerve and cartilage regeneration procedures), whilst simultaneously executing its near term market entry plans for oral bone and soft tissue repair. Orthocell intends to leverage this appointment, clinical results and existing European approval for orthopaedic regulatory submissions in key regions including the US, Europe and Australia.

Dr. Bell is a widely respected Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in sports injuries, ligament reconstruction, tendinopathy and degenerative conditions. Dr. Bell consults at high profile clinics such as Wimbledon clinics and New Victoria Hospital and is considered an expert in advanced joint preservation and joint replacement techniques. With his research dedicated to minimally invasive techniques, he is also vastly experienced with arthroscopic surgery and reconstruction of ligament injuries. A leader in his field, Dr. Bell has a wide range of experience treating all levels of sports people, from the occasional jogger to the professional athlete. Dr. Bell also regularly teaches in the UK and overseas.

clinical study results. The Company has agreed to issue Dr. Bell 500,000 unlisted options each exercisable at $0.34 expiring 3 years from the date of issue.
