Orora announces new leadership for Orora Packaging Solutions

Orora Limited (ASX: ORA , Orora ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Frank Pennisi as the new President of Orora’s North American packaging and distribution business, Orora Packaging Solutions ( OPS ). The appointment follows a decision by Mr Bernardino (Bernie) Salvatore to retire from his role after almost two decades with the company.

Commenting on the announcement, Orora Managing Director and CEO, Brian Lowe said: “I am very pleased to be able to welcome Frank as our new President of OPS. Frank has extensive leadership experience gained across manufacturing, engineering, logistics and technology companies. This experience will stand him in good stead as OPS continues its digital transition under the revised Orora strategy.

“Frank began his career with GE in engineering, logistics and operations. More recently he has held senior executive roles with Honeywell and joins Orora from FLIR Systems where he led the $1.1 billion Industrial Technologies segment for that business,” Mr Lowe said.

Frank will commence his role on Monday 30 November and will work with Bernie Salvatore to ensure a smooth transition of leadership before Bernie leaves the business in March 2021.

More recently, he has led the OPS COVID-19 response, keeping co-workers safe while implementing a comprehensive business improvement program.
