Orora Limited –Non-Executive Director Appointments

The Chairman of Orora Limited, Mr Chris Roberts, today announced the appointment of two new non-executive directors of Orora Limited.

Ms Abi Cleland has been appointed as a non-executive director effective 1 February 2014, and Ms Samantha Lewis has been appointed as a non-executive director and Chairman of the Audit & Compliance Committee of Orora Limited effective 1 March 2014.

Orora’s Chairman, Mr Chris Roberts, said “My fellow Board members and I are delighted Ms Cleland and Ms Lewis are joining the Orora Board, and look forward to their contribution.”

Abi Cleland

Ms Cleland is currently Managing Director and founder of Absolute Partners, a management and advisory firm. Directly prior to this Ms Cleland built a turnaround practise as Managing Director at 333 Management, and has held senior executive roles in the past at ANZ, Incitec Pivot, Amcor and BHP.

Ms Cleland has over 15 years of global experience in senior leadership roles with a focus on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, managing businesses and online, in the industrial, retail, transport, agriculture and financial services sectors. Ms Cleland is currently a member of the Lazard's Private Equity Fund 2 Investment Committee and was formerly a director at Australian Independent Business Media (Business Spectator and Eureka report), prior to its sale to News Corporation.

Ms Cleland has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from Monash and an MBA from the Melbourne Business School. Ms Cleland is a member of AICD.

Samantha Lewis

Ms Lewis is currently an Assurance & Advisory Partner at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Ms Lewis will be stepping down from her role at Deloitte at the end of March 2014. Ms Lewis has been with Deloitte in Australia since 1994 and a partner since 2000.

Ms Lewis brings to the Orora Board extensive financial experience, including as a lead auditor of a number of major Australian listed entities. Ms Lewis has significant experience working with manufacturing and consumer business organisations, and in addition to external audits, has provided accounting and transactional advisory services to other major organisations in Australia.

Ms Lewis holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics from the University of Liverpool in the UK, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
