Orkla reports continued growth

In the third quarter, Orkla reported operating revenues of NOK 17.9 billion,

with organic growth of 4.4%, including 1.3% from volume/mix.

Orkla increased EBIT (adj.) by 2.1% to NOK 2.0 billion compared to the same

period last year. Underlying EBIT (adj.) for the consolidated portfolio

Profit from associated companies totalled NOK 603 million, primarily related

increased volumes as well as increased sales of premium products in the

Decorative segment. Reported EBITA growth was 6% during the quarter, and 12%

excluding currency effects.

Orkla's profit before tax ended at NOK 2.0 billion. Earnings per share (adj.)

for the quarter was NOK 1.85, an increase of 9% year-over-year.

On 6 November, Orkla India was successfully listed on the Indian Stock

Exchange. Following the listing, Orkla retains a 75% ownership stake in Orkla

India.

"The listing marks an important milestone for Orkla India and reflects the

strong foundation we have built together with Orkla. The listing provides us

with greater visibility and many strategic options to pursue our growth

ambitions. We see significant opportunities ahead and remain committed to

creating sustainable, long-term value," says Orkla India CEO Sanjay Sharma.

"The IPO of Orkla India represents an important step in our strategy to unlock

long-term value. The listing increases transparency around Orkla India's

performance and lays the foundation for future growth. We are thankful and

proud of all the hard work from our teams both in Orkla India and Orkla ASA in

preparing for the listing. As a dedicated majority owner, we look forward to

supporting the next phase of Orkla India's growth journey," says Orkla

President and CEO Nils K. Selte.
