Orkla will participate in refinancing of REC

With reference to today's notice to the Oslo Stock Exchange from the Renewable

Energy Corporation (REC), as part of an overall solution and subject to certain

conditions, Orkla will be participating in the outlined equity rights issue.

Orkla's participation will be commensurate with its relative stake in REC.
