Appointments into Orion s Executive Management Board as of 1 January 2008

Timo Lappalainen succeeding Jukka Viinanen as President and CEO and Chairman of the Executive Management Board of Orion Corporation as of the beginning of 2008, the following appointments have been made to the management positions currently held by Mr. Lappalainen, effective as of 1 January 2008: Dr. Liisa Hurme, PhD, 41 years of age, has been appointed to head the Proprietary Products business division as Senior Vice President, Proprietary Products. She is currently Director of the Urology and Oncology core therapy area in the Proprietary Products division. Dr. Hurme has joined the Orion Group in 1999. Satu Ahomäki, M.Sc. (Econ.), 41 years, has been appointed to head the Animal Health business division as Senior Vice President, Animal Health. She moves to this position from the post of Director, Business Development, in the Business Development and Support organisation for the Orion Group. Satu Ahomäki has joined the Orion Group in 1992. Liisa Hurme and Satu Ahomäki will be members of the Executive Management Board of the Orion Group as of 1 January 2008.
