Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or the 'Company') has received notification today from DNCA Finance of an increase in its shareholding in the Company.  Following the acquisition of 780,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the capital of the Company, DNCA Finance is now the holder of 4,260,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in Origin.  This holding represents approximately 3.4% of the Company's issued share capital, excluding treasury shares.
