Origin Enterprises acquires two specialist ecology businesses

Leading specialist consultancies to further strengthen the Group's environmental services

Dublin, London, 05 September 2024: Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or 'the Group'), the international group championing sustainable land use solutions, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Avian Ecology Limited ('Avian') and Bowland Ecology Limited ('Bowland'). Both Avian and Bowland are specialist ecological consultancies working throughout the UK.

Avian Ecology provides a broad range of services, particularly specialising in the areas of ornithology and renewable energy consenting, led by skilled ecologists from offices in Cheshire and Stirlingshire.

Bowland Ecology employs a team of highly qualified professional ecologists specialising in terrestrial and freshwater ecology, delivering a full range of ecological technical solutions from offices in Lancashire and Glasgow.

Welcoming the announcement, TJ Kelly, Divisional Managing Director of Living Landscapes, commented: "We are delighted to welcome the Avian and Bowland teams to the environmental side of our Living Landscapes division, where they will complement our Neo Environmental and Keystone Environmental businesses.
