Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or the 'Company') announced earlier today that it had been informed by ARYZTA AG ('ARYZTA') that ARYZTA had placed its entire holding of 36,282,338 ordinary shares in Origin, equivalent to 29.0% of the Company's issued share capital excluding treasury shares, at a price of €6.30 per share ('the Placing').  Certain Directors of Origin have purchased ordinary shares in the Company pursuant to the Placing as follows:
